Autumn & Drew | A Classic Mountain Wedding at Winter Wood Farm & Venue in Sparta, NC

Tucked away in the mountains of Sparta, North Carolina, they couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful June day. Blue skies, sunshine, and endless mountain views made the perfect backdrop as they promised forever surrounded by their closest family and friends.


Their wedding was filled with timeless details. Soft sage green bridesmaid dresses paired beautifully with rich purple florals, giving everything a classic look that fit the venue perfectly. Before the wedding, they even took part in the Southern tradition of burying a bottle of bourbon, hoping for good weather. Whether it was luck or tradition, it definitely worked!


One thing I loved about this wedding was how much fun everyone had. Their bridal party kept the energy high all day, making portraits feel more like hanging out with friends than posing for photos. There was so much laughter from start to finish, and it made the entire day feel relaxed and joyful.

The ceremony itself was full of emotion. Against the backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Autumn and Drew exchanged vows while their family and friends looked on. It was one of those ceremonies where you could truly feel how excited everyone was for them.


Of course, my favorite part of the day was sneaking away for sunset portraits. As the sun dipped lower over the mountains, the fields surrounding the venue glowed with the prettiest golden light. Those quiet moments gave Autumn and Drew a chance to slow down, soak everything in, and simply enjoy being together before heading back to celebrate.


Some of my favorite images from the day came during those few minutes. Between the mountain views, the wildflowers, and the golden evening light, it was the perfect ending to an already beautiful wedding.
